Professional CPR
This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide adult, child, and infant CPR, two-person CPR, use of an Automated External Defibrillator, use of the Bag-Valve-Mask, treating for shock, and relieving choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Intended Audience
Healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician’s assistants, residents or fellows, medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, certified or non-certified healthcare professionals, licensed or non-licensed healthcare professionals, professional rescuers, rescue swimmers and other allied health personnel.
Certificates
Each student who successfully completes this course will receive a two year certificate for CPR for the Professional Rescuer issued by the American Red Cross.
